Causes of WW1
what cause the ww1 to happen was that on September 17,1796 President Washington said: "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world.... Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest, and humour. World War I was caused in part by the two opposing alliances developed by Bismarckian diplomacy after the Franco-Prussian War. In order to diplomatically isolate France, Bismarck formed the three emperors league in 1872, an alliance between Germany, Russia and Austria-Hungary. This alliance, unlike others, endured until war in 1914. It was this clause that Austria-Hungary invoked in calling Germany to her aid against Russian support for Serbia (who in turn was protected by treaty with Russia). In this ww1 there was alot of agreements and many of countries were going to war and many soldiers died during does wars.
