The Opium Wars

What happen during the opium war was that the britian and the chinese fought and they had some tradings going on during thee 1830's to 1840's. the chinese were self-sufficient witch means independence. also the chinese emperor was interested in the gadgets that the english had brought him because it was easier for the english to track the chinese people and make sure what they doing is being hiddin and not letting the chinese knowing what they doing. the chinese didnt like to trade at all but what the english did was that they trick the chinese into trading so thats what they did. What they had trade was opium. opium was a drug witch the doctors had been using it to relieve pain for a hundred years then the britian merchants smuggled opuim into china for non medical use. also they were getting more and wanting more of the opium that they got so addicted to it and they were getting sick and injured and it killed 12 million. chinese people. The group who won the war where the england people because they had stronger boats and it was to much for the chinese people to handle there boat where very weak and there weapons were to.

In the movie mountians of the moon there were many african people were in wars and and many of them were killed and were tourched and stabed. these two men who explored and were almost killed cause of the other group of african. they reason why they named the river after a British queen was because the explores had took over and so they planned it and they named it. also they gatherd some of them who were good and they all wanted to go to the Nile River and when they got there they were walking there the guy who was the compus that he knew where was the river he had both of his legs damaged because of the walking alot so they all got to the river but when they got there they got happy and rushed to the water but there was something wrong with it. the water had some kind of sickness and half of the majority got sick and all died and they were put to the ocean cause of the water. The reason why it was so easy for the europeans was beacause they found many ways to take over them and thats what they did the got got more weapons and ships and took over.

The Mejii Restoration of Japan

On march 1854 there was a treaty trade treaty going on with Japan and the USA after three years negotiation. the US Commodore Perry came to an agreement with the Tokugawa opening two ports to US vessels for allowing the appointment of a consul, and guarantee for better treatment for wrecked ship sailors. The Treaty of Kanagawa was followed within two years by similar agreements with Britain, Russia, and the Netherlands, and in 1858 by the more wideranging Treaty of EDO with the USA, and marked the beginning of regular political and economic intercourse between Japan and the Western nations. What he had to empressed the japanese was that he had alot of soldiers and weapons like shotgun and big cargo ships and they used steam to destroy during wars. also he had ships that were made wit steam and were strong boats. also plus they used some of these strong weapons they had.

Karl Marx and Communism

Karl Marx ideas for the communism is that to me is i think Karl Marx ideas were wrong. the reason why i say that is because Karl Marx's ideas on communism are incorrect based on his ideas of economics.Marx believed that labor would be free.few if any people would work for free which nothing is free in life they can do anything like fore example; they could go to the movies, theme parks and other entertainment but where would they get the money from. Karl Marx ideas were that there will be no currency in the future Few if any people would work for free, if they get bored, they could go to the movies, theme parks, and other entertainment but where would they get the money from. His ideas that there would be no currency in the future are also wrong. Humans have lived for thousands of years, we have gone through time periods where barter was the only trade.what i think Communism means is Communism has been a major historical theme since the Bolshevik Russia Revolution of in 1917. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels popularized the communist in their 1848 work, Communism manifesto. Vladimir Ulrich Lenin, founder of the Bolshevik Party, was inspired by this work and eventually became the first Communist ruler of Russia. The reason why Karl Marx wanted to take over the communism was because many of the people needed needed religion en order to work and he didn't like religions at all and many people were taking ova and worshiping the government so he took ova and changed rules that were there. the good guys that he saw i think were the workers and the bad guys he saw were the guys from the people in the party.

Karl Marx the Industrial Revolution

The image “http://img.tfd.com/authors/marx.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Karl Marx was born in 1818 and he was born a jew. when he was a little younger he knew that his father converted the family to Christianity in order to get a job. also karl Marx didnt belive in god and thought workers were controlled by religion and he said religion is the opiate of the people and that Opium is a drug. what he felt aboyut the industrial revolution iks he didnt realy like it because olf the workers he saw that the they were controling thee goverment all because his ideas werent used in communist countries. and most communist nations were pressed censord.the way the Industrial Revolution inspire Marx to invent Communism is that he wanted to change the rules which was already set to the industrial revolution which u had to be in the religion in order to work and dont let the workers were controling the goverment. so he started a new which was different kind of rules so now everything has been changed.

French Revolution: Social Causes

The three estates of the french revolution was the Holland, Prussia, and Sardinia. it was replaced by the National Convention, which proclaimed the Republic. The Enlightenment was a movement of thinkers who believed that science could explain everything in nature. Until then, most peoplebelieved that god controlled the universe in a "metaphysical" manner. Metaphysical means "beyond physical," and suggests that it is impossible for humans to comprehend things that happen in our environment. The French Revolution began in 1789 with the meeting of the States General in May. On July 14 of that same year, the Bastille was stormed: in October, Louis XVI and the Royal Family were removed from Versailles to Paris. The King attempted, unsuccessfully, to flee Paris for Varennes in June 1791.

Copernicus and the trial of Galileo

The heliocentric system was Copernicus proposed that the Sun, not the Earth, was the center of the Solar System. Such a model is called a heliocentric system. The ordering of the planets known to Copernicus in this new system is in the following figure, which we recognize as the modern ordering of those planets. In this new ordering the Earth is just another planet (the third outward from the Sun), and the Moon is in orbit around the Earth, not the Sun. The stars are distant objects that do not revolve around the Sun. Instead, the Earth is assumed to rotate once in 24 hours, causing the stars to appear to revolve around the Earth in the oppsite direction.
The Geocentric system
Geocentric means that the earth is in the center. In the geocentric system, the earth is statically located at the center and the rest of the planets revolve around it, including the sun, which was also considered a planet. The planet nearest to earth is the moon, which completes a single revolution about the earth in one month. Further out are the rest of the planets: Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

Evolution vs. Creation

The Evolution vs Creation- Evolutionists find the evidence they've sought since the beginning of the modern Evolutionary movement about 150 years ago, there is actually no debate at all. Creation is the default. Evolutionists insist that complexity developed from simplicity despite the contradiction to known physical laws. Moreover, Evolutionists maintain that this simplicity just sprang into existence without any cause at all. The Evolution vs. Creation debate further seeks to solve the riddle of complexity. Creationists believe the universe was designed to be complex by an Intelligent Designer. Evolutionists, in their effort to exclude a designer, contend that complexity has developed from simplicity over time. Evolutionists view time as their solution. However, hard science tells us that time is the enemy of complexity.
